International Game Technology, also known as IGT may begin a partnership with Cyberview Technology. In spite of this being yesterdays news, (companies have been working to become partners for some time now), they are both just beginning to realize what this would mean for IGT if the deal were actually to come through.
The slot machine giant, belonging to the server based gaming race, will, according to analysts, gain popularity and therefore take advantage over the competition. The buyout worth $70 million would give them an extra lift over the other slot machine companies, putting them in front of the race.
They would be able to be in that position, as they would have added server based gaming technology into the casinos. There are a lot of conjectures as to how far the partnership will be able to go whilst executives go over the last details of the deal.
A deadline as to when the deal will be done is yet to be established; both companies do not seem to have any rush in ending the negotiations yet. The bond between both corporations will make based commercial deliverables faster, among other benefits, say experts. Surely, having the server based gaming for the slot machines, will make IGT a huge leader over other slot machine enterprises.
